    I read this article and I liked their analysis on the history of Nigerian cults. However, cultism is just another illustration of the serious breakdown of Nigerian society. No amount of heavy handedness will eradicate this scourge.

    To get rid of cults, means to get rid of some of the worst aspects of Nigerian culture and behavior. Whether or not we as a people are truly ready to confront this reality is the issue left unanswered.
